Traffic was tied up on I-684 in Westchester after a driver struck a New York State Department of Transportation truck in a construction zone. A southbound crash was reported shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 2 near Exit 3 in North Castle, state police said, noting that the NYSDOT was in a marked construction zone.  The crash forced the right and left lanes on I-684 to be closed for the crash investigation. Traffic Signal Worker Thrown From Bucket In Stamford An electrician working to help replace all of the traffic lights along Greenwich Avenue was left dangling in the air after being hit by a concrete truck, according to Stamford Police. The 27-year-old Bristol resident was working on a traffic signal from the bucket of his truck when the incident occurred Tuesday morning, said Sgt. Andrew Gallagher.
