A Cos Cob man with an active warrant is facing charges after he was reported for stumbling and potential public intoxication, police say.
Greenwich Police say they responded to the area of 1207 E. Putnam Avenue on Monday, June 17 around 12:45 a.m. on a report of a pedestrian that was stumbling and potentially intoxicated.
Further investigation revealed that there was an active arrest warrant for the pedestrian, who was identified as Martin Marusak, 47, of Cos Cob.
Marusak was arrested and faces the charges listed on his warrant, which include:
- Violation of protective order (two counts)
- Second-degree threatening
- First-degree criminal trespassing
- Disorderly conduct
Marusak was unable to post his $25,000 bond and was scheduled to appear at Stamford Superior Court on Tuesday, June 18.
