Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Hit-Run Armonk Crash

The pedestrian was walking along the eastbound lane of School Street in Armonk, around 8:55 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4, when they were struck by an unknown vehicle near Wampus Avenue, North Castle police said

The driver fled the scene of the crash without stopping, police said. A make or model of the vehicle was not available. 

The unidentified pedestrian was taken by Armonk Ambulance to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla where they remain in serious condition on Thursday, Sept. 5, police said. 

The incident is currently under investigation.
