Bronx Man Arrested in Drunken Driving in Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. — A man from the Bronx, N.Y., was arrested in Greenwich on Monday night after almost causing a collision when he was driving while intoxicated, police said.

Brian Matthew Daur, 31, of 1006 Boynton Ave. Apt. 3, was leaving a parking lot and cut off another car on West Putnam Avenue. He was stopped, and police said Daur’s had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. He failed field sobriety tests. He was charged with operating under the influence and failure to grant right of way. He posted $500 bond and is due in court Aug. 22.
