The time has come for the members of the Board of Education to actually make positive changes for our school system. Voters have an opportunity Nov. 8 to elect two Republican board members who will re-energize the board and hold stakeholders accountable for the results of the school system.
One person who will make an effective board member is Anna Saras Povinelli.
I have never met anyone who is so focused on the goal and just forges until she accomplishes what she sets out to do. She will bring a much-needed positive energy to the board and a sense of teamwork. Annas priority will be to do what is best for the students and she wont play in the political sandbox.
Anna is not only a great listener but she actually gets things done. She doesnt complain, she identifies problems and tries to solve them. She is a great mother and a great friend.
Knowing Anna, she will also make sure that dollars are spent wisely because she hates wasting money. She will be the kind of board member the students deserve and the taxpayers expect. Vote for Anna Saras Povinelli for Board of Education.
