Sen. Frantz To Address Greenwich Retired Men's Association

GREENWICH, Conn. – The Retired Men's Association Of Greenwich, Inc. will host state Senator L. Scott Frantz at its next meeting on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Lafayette Place, Greenwich.

Frantz is halfway through his fourth term in the General Assembly where he represents the 36th District, which includes the communities of Greenwich, New Canaan and Stamford. He was named deputy minority leader of the Senate Republican Caucus, the Ranking member of the Commerce and Finance Committees. In addition, Frantz serves on the Transportation and Legislative Management Committees.

Frantz is a business entrepreneur, now serving as the president and chairman of Haebler Capital, a private investment capital firm based in Greenwich. He is also known as a prominent fundraiser for Republican candidates, including serving as the host for a 2006 Republican event featuring President George W. Bush. He attended The Hotchkiss School, and is a 1982 graduate of Princeton University and a 1986 graduate of Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business. He lives in Riverside with his wife and their four children.

The Greenwich RMA offers a free program every Wednesday that is open to the public, both men and women; no reservations are required. Social break starts at 10:40 a.m. followed promptly by the speaker at 11 a.m. Programs are at the First Presbyterian Church, 1 West Putnam in Greenwich.
