A serious crash forced a stretch of the northbound New England Thruway to be closed throughout the morning in Guilford between Connecticut 88 (Exit 58) and Goose Lane (Exit 59).
The crash with ejection and at least one serious injury occurred around 6 a.m., state police said.
Motorists were diverted off of Exit 58 during the closure.
In Fairfield County, there are delays on the southbound Merritt with road construction closing the right lane between Connecticut 106 (Exit 36) and High Ridge Road (Route 137) in Stamford.
