State Police Cruiser Struck While Troopers Investigate Crash
A Connecticut State Police trooper was hospitalized after sustaining an injury when his cruiser was struck by an allegedly drunk driver while he was responding to a motor vehicle crash on the side of I-84 over the weekend. Troopers were dispatched to a stretch of I-84 near exit 49 on Sunday morning in Hartford, where there was a report of a one-car crash that left a motorist with minor injuries, according to state police.
