The Fairfield County incident happened on Tuesday, June 18 in the town of New Canaan. Dispute Between Teen, Mother's Boyfriend Gets Physical, New Canaan PD Says A teen and his mother's 48-year-old boyfriend were arrested for disorderly conduct after getting into a fight with each other in New Canaan, police said. The dispute between Todd Givens of Stamford and the unidentified 16-year-old teen took place around 8:30 p.m. Friday on Gerdes Road, said the New Canaan Police Department. Responding officers found that the two were involved in a physical altercation in the driveway of the home, police said. Both received minor injuries but declined medical attention.
