Easton Teen Dancing In Klein's 75th-Anniversary Show
EASTON, Conn. — An Easton teen will be among the featured performers at the 75th-anniversary celebration of The Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport.
Gianna Forte, 17, a senior at Joel Barlow High School, is a principal dancer with the New England Ballet Company of Bridgeport and, with fellow principal dancer Nicholas Franco, will perform the romantic balcony scene from “Romeo and Juliet.”
Paul Shaffer, bandleader from “The Late Show with David Letterman,” will host the Klein’s anniversary celebration, to be held Saturday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m.

Newtown Farm Celebrates 20th Year Of Fall Festival
NEWTOWN, Conn. – For more than 20 years, Paproski Castle Hill Farm has hosted an annual corn maze and pumpkin patch at 25 Sugar Lane in Newtown.
The fall events at Castle Hill Farm, which wound down last weekend, also included live music by local musician Billy Michaels, private parties, pony rides, bonfires and a petting zoo.
“Our kickoff was the Ukrainian festival with 500 to 600 people,” said Diana Paproski, who owns Castle Hill Farm with her husband, Steve. “There was Ukrainian food, dance and the corn maze was open.”

The Von Trapps Bring The Sound Of Music To Palace Theatre In Danbury
DANBURY, Conn. — The Hat City will be alive with the sound of music on Nov. 14 when the Von Trapps take the stage for a concert at the Palace Theatre.
Sofia, Melanie, Amanda and August von Trapp, the great-grandchildren of "The Sound of Music’s" Captain and Maria von Trapp, have performed together since their youth, with a musical journey begun as a fluke in 2001.
