Small Business Strategies: Google Business Apps: 7 p.m. The Fairfield Public Librarys ongoing series for small business owners teaches how to use Googles free apps in your business. Located in the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.
Bridgeport Bluefish vs. Southern Maryland Blue Crabs: 7:05 p.m. Bridgeports Atlantic League baseball team is back in town. Tuesday night is Kids Eat Free Night. Tickets range from $8 to $20 online or at the box office at the Harbor Yard Ballpark in downtown Bridgeport.
Town Plan and Zoning Commission: 7:30 p.m. Fairfields zoning board holds its bimonthly meeting. The meetings agenda is available here. Cafeteria of McKinley School, 60 Thompson St.

Gardening and Outdoor Hobby Workshop: 10 a.m. to noon. Culinary nutritionist Heather Carey hosts a workshop on raising chickens and bees and growing organic vegetables at her home. Registration is $40 at Careys website. Twin Brooks Lane.
The Met in HD: Götterdämmerung: 5:30 p.m. The Quick Center for the Arts wraps up its series of German composer Richard Wagners operas, as performed live at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York via satellite. Tickets are range from $15 to $20 at the theater box office. Quick Center, 1073 N. Benson Road.

Health Matters: Cholesterol: 7 p.m. Dr. Veronica Waks offers a lecture and Q&A session on keeping your cholesterol down at the Fairfield Public Library. The event is free in the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road
McLovins in Concert: 7:30 p.m. The Hartford-based band of high school students performs its jam-rock music. Tickets are $18 at the theater box office in advance, $21 at the door. Fairfield Theatre Companys StageOne, 70 Sanford St.
