FAIRFIELD, Conn. A Fairfield man was arrested on seven warrants Monday.
James Kosch, 26, of Linwood Avenue, was charged with shoplifting and failing to appear in court for six previous charges, police said.
Employees at the Rite Aid pharmacy on the Post Road reported the theft of $127 worth of razor blades from the store March 24 by a man who reportedly drove away in a blue station wagon. Through video surveillance, police named Kosch as a suspect. The store manager identified Kosch from a photo lineup, police said.
Fairfield police filed for an arrest warrant, which was served in Bridgeport Monday evening. Officers also found Kosch had outstanding warrants from Bridgeport and Fairfield police for missing court dates for six separate incidents. The original charges include possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to commit larceny and driving with a suspended license.
Kosch was charged with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy and six counts of second-degree failure to appear in court. He is now due in court May 29.
