The center is responsible for analyzing threat information throughout the region. It cannot be emphasized enough the importance that all citizens play in reporting suspicious activity to mitigate future threats, the Connecticut State Police said.

The Department of Homeland Security has launched the “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign across the country in an effort to increase vigilance among the community, private sector, and government sector. Be aware of your surroundings, report questionable behavior, and notify law enforcement authorities immediately of questionable devices via 911.
