Participants are asked to wear tie dye and retro to complement the new exhibition "Talking 'Bout My Generation: Fairfield in the 1960s and 1970s."
There will be crafts, stories, giveaways, contests, foolery and kid-friendly food and fun like the limbo and musical chairs.
Shake Shack, Garden Catering and Newman’s Own will provide the custard, chicken nuggets, popcorn and other snacks, said Communications Manager Deb Owens.
There also will be games of limbo, musical chairs, and Twister, a Pet Rock craft station, costumed characters, and funny photos.
Double Up Dance Studio will bring the music.
