Financial Writer Jane Bryant Quinn Speaks At Fairfield Library

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Prominent financial journalist Jane Bryant Quinn spoke about her new book, "How to Make Your Money Last: The Indispensable Retirement Guide," at the Fairfield Public Library on Tuesday evening.

Quinn, a best-selling author and the founding editorial director of Daily Voice, says the book has been on her mind for several years.

"There are tons of books on retirement lifestyle advice and lots of books on how to invest in retirement, but there wasn't a book on how to turn whatever savings you have into a reliable income for life," said Quinn, a resident of Poughquag, N.Y.

Her book addresses those concerns, offering ideas and recipes for increasing the income you get from your savings and investments, maintaining that income for life, and simple tools such as index mutual funds and immediate pay annuities.
