Woman Fatally Shot Near CT Amtrak Station An investigation is underway after a woman was shot and killed during a dispute near a Connecticut Amtrak station. Ceiling Collapse Closes Section Of Stamford Train Station, 1 Injured A portion of a suspended concrete ceiling over a stairway vestibule at the Stamford Train Station collapsed, sending riders scrambling to get out of the way. $850 Bicycle Stolen From Darien Train Station, Police Say Police are investigating after a bike worth approximately $850 was allegedly stolen from the Darien train station. Darien Police received a report from a man on Thursday, March 14 around 1:30 a.m. stating that a bicycle had been taken from the westbound platform bike rack of the train station (33 West Avenue). The victim further stated that he had locked his bicycle to the rack around 8:30 a.m. the morning prior. He reportedly returned to find both the bike and the lock missing.
