Man Accused of Brutal Attack At Darien Home That Left Victim Unconscious, Hospitalized A 21-year-old man faces multiple charges after allegedly attacking a Connecticut acquaintance in a violent assault that left the victim unconscious and bleeding, according to Darien police. Maodo Malick Ndiaye, of New York, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and strangulation/suffocation, police said. The attack came to light on Sunday, Feb. 21, when the victim came to the. Man Wanted On Charges Of Assault, Strangulation Surrenders To Greenwich Police A 43-year-old man wanted on assault and strangulation charges turned himself in to police. Darnell L. Davis, of Miami Beach, turned himself into Greenwich Police on Tuesday after being advised of an active warrant for his arrest for an event that took place in Greenwich on August 15 on Orchard Hill Lane, Greenwich Police said. Following his surrender, Davis was charged with assault, strangulation/suffocation, and unlawful restraint.  He chose not to post the $10,000 bond, police said.
