Man Accused of Brutal Attack At Darien Home That Left Victim Unconscious, Hospitalized A 21-year-old man faces multiple charges after allegedly attacking a Connecticut acquaintance in a violent assault that left the victim unconscious and bleeding, according to Darien police. Maodo Malick Ndiaye, of New York, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and strangulation/suffocation, police said. Officers responded to Scofield Farms Road in Darien shortly after 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30. The victim reported that Ndiaye had fled the scene on a bicycle toward Allwood Road. CT Man Held Woman For Days, Sexually, Physically Assaulting Her, Police Say A Connecticut man has been arrested for allegedly holding a woman captive and sexually and physically assaulting her for several days. The attack came to light on Sunday, Feb. 21, when the victim came to the. Torrington Police Department to report being physically assaulted over the past several days by a man later identified as Cedric Brown, of Torrington, said the Torrington Police.  The victim sustained significant injuries from this incident, police said. Man Wanted On Charges Of Assault, Strangulation Surrenders To Greenwich Police A 43-year-old man wanted on assault and strangulation charges turned himself in to police. Darnell L. Davis, of Miami Beach, turned himself into Greenwich Police on Tuesday after being advised of an active warrant for his arrest for an event that took place in Greenwich on August 15 on Orchard Hill Lane, Greenwich Police said. Following his surrender, Davis was charged with assault, strangulation/suffocation, and unlawful restraint.  He chose not to post the $10,000 bond, police said.
