Dog Receives 'Mysterious' Bite Wound While Playing In Fairfield County Yard
A Fairfield County dog received a mysterious bite wound while loose in a yard in Fairfield County. Monroe Animal Control said the incident happened on Wednesday, Feb. 26, in the area of Church Street, while the owner was cleaning off a gas grill and heard the dog yelp in the tree line of the yard. The dog's owner took the animal to a veterinary office who then called animal control to report a "wound of unknown origin," said Spc. Ofc. Edward Risko.
