Crowded Field Of 2018 CT Gubernatorial Candidates Will Be On Display Do the math: If every candidate invited to Saturday's 90-minute forum in Westport speaks for five minutes -- the debate will be over. Eighteen candidates from across the state seeking to be Connecticut’s next governor have agreed to meet on April 21 for the Gubernatorial Forum presented by the League of Women Voters.
