CT Inspector General Investigating After Woman Dies In Police Custody The Connecticut Office of Inspector General is investigating the death of a 49-year-old woman who was in police custody. Linda Praylow, of Hartford, died in a holding cell on Sunday, April 7, while in the custody of the Hartford Police. She was arrested on Friday, April 5, for two outstanding warrants and held on a $20,000 bond. Police did not say what the warrants were for. Police-Involved Shooting: Bridgeport Officers Kill Suspect Who Fled Traffic Stop, Cops Say Police in Fairfield County fatally shot a suspect allegedly involved in weapons and narcotics who fled from officers and took them on a police chase.  The shooting incident began in Bridgeport around 5:10 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 4, and ended in New Haven County in Ansonia with the death of the unnamed suspect.  According to Capt. Man Dies After Shooting On I-84 In CT: Suspects At Large Police are searching for the suspects involved in a broad daylight shooting incident on Interstate 84 in Hartford County that left a 36-year-old man dead.  The incident happened on Friday, Aug. 11 around 2 p.m., when State Police troopers responded to a report of a crash on I-84 East in the area of Exit 48 in Hartford.  According to State Police, arriving troopers determined that two vehicles traveling in the city had entered the highway and that shots had been fired.  Two other vehicles were also involved in the collision, police said.  Troopers soon found the two occ…
