Darien Sailor On US Olympic Team Heads To Larchmont

LARCHMONT, N.Y. – The U.S. Olympic Sailing Team will hold a meet and greet at Larchmont Yacht Club on Saturday before it leaves for London to participate in the Olympics.

The U.S. Olympic Sailing Committee, the Junior Sailing Association of Long Island Sound and the Larchmont Yacht Club worked together to create “Good Luck USA Send-Off presented by Maclaren.” The 16 Olympic and six Paralympic athletes will be at the Larchmont Yacht Club from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Local sailor Rob Crane from Noroton, Conn. is one of the athletes on the team and will be at the event.

The party will be free and will be open to all sailors, families and friends.
