On Wednesday, Aug. 23, a resident reported that she had gotten into her Land Rover and found that the glove box was open and the contents were on the front passenger's seat. Nothing was taken. The vehicle had been cleaned up and driven prior to the officer's arrival, police said.

The owner reported that the car had been left unlocked overnight. Two other cars in the driveway had been left locked, and were not entered. Police conducted a canvass of the area, with negative results.
