DARIEN, Conn. A homeless man was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing after camping in Darien on Sunday, police said.
According to a police report, a woman was walking on the hiking trail at Woodland Park when she saw a man setting up camp in the woods. Police arrived and recognized him as Robert Houseworth, 57. Darien police have arrested Houseworth several times in the past for camping near Woodland and Middlesex, and said they have let him off several more times with warnings that camping is not allowed in Darien.
Houseworth listed a motel in Stamford as his address. In the past he has listed various homeless shelters in the area. He was unable to post a $250 bond, and went to court on Monday.

Identity Theft: A Bronx man was charged in two identity theft cases. Ibrahim Musah, 26, is accused of ordering several computers using other peoples addresses. Twice in May a FedEx driver was approached by the same man, who claimed to be the recipient of packages that contained several thousand dollars worth of HP computers. The driver did not hand over the packages because he believed the man was showing him false identification. When police talked to the residents of the houses where the packages were supposed to be delivered, the residents said they had not ordered any computers.
Police contacted HP security and learned that more computers were supposed to be shipped to an address in Stamford. Darien and Stamford police observed the house where the packages were to be delivered, and reported seeing a car slow down and check out the house. Police stopped the car, which was driven by Musah. Police said he was carrying a fake ID with the house residents name on it. He also allegedly had a new HP laptop displaying directions to the Stamford house.
Police said the FedEx driver identified Musah as the man who had approached him. Musah was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal attempt at larceny, two counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, identity theft and criminal impersonation. He posted a $25,000 bond and is due in court on Friday, June 8.
