Neither Morrison nor his attorney, Robert Skovgaard, appeared in Stamford Superior Court on Tuesday morning when the notice of the continuance was read aloud. Judge David Tobin nodded in acknowledgment of the date, and the court moved onto its next case.
Morrison is accused of strangling his wife, CBS News "MoneyWatch" anchor Ashley Morrison, during an altercation in their Hollow Tree Ridge Road home on Feb. 17, police said.
Rob Morrison was charged with second-degree strangulation, a felony, and second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors, police said. He is required to stay at least 100 feet away from Ashley Morrison.
