FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- An urban and small stream flood advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for Fairfield County on Saturday through 1 p.m.
The advisory was issued after Doppler Radar showed an area of moderate to heavy rain moving northeast from Queens, according to the service.
Rainfall rates of up to one inch an hour are possible and could result in minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas as well as rivers, creeks and small streams, the service as.
