Coastal Flood Advisory Is In Effect For Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A coastal flood advisory is in effect for Fairfield County from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Onshore winds and tide will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore, including the most vulnerable shore roads and basements, according to the service.

Wednesday will be a partly sunny day with a high temperature of around 78.
