DANBURY, Conn. Geno Auriemma shares stories from his 27 years as UConn head women's basketball coach at an event hosted by the Danbury and Fairfield County chapters of the UConn Alumni Association next month.
"An Evening With Geno Auriemma" takes place at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury on Monday, Sept. 10, at 6:15 pm.
The event includes a cocktail hour, seated dinner and remarks by the Hall of Fame and Olympic gold-medal winning coach. Alumni, fans, and friends are invited.
Proceeds from the event will support scholarships for current students and programming of the two alumni association chapters.
Tickets are $48 for UConn Alumni Association members and $50 for non-members. For more information, visit the UConn Alumni Association website.
