Tuesday through Thursday are the days we should watch for potential storms and dropping temperatures, AccuWeather.com said.

Although it won’t be nearly as frigid as it was over Valentine’s Day weekend, temps could still drop to the 30s and 40s from a high of 50 this week, forecasters say.

According to Accuweather.com, areas from Washington, D.C., to Boston could see snow if the storm stays offshore.

But if it moves slightly inland or hugs the coast, it could bring mostly rain or a wintry mix to Connecticut, forecasters said.

In the meantime across Fairfield County, it will be sunny with temperatures in the mid-30s on Thursday and Friday, with a weekend warmup into the upper 40s under sunny skies.
