Bridgeport Could See Overnight Rain, Snow After A Warm Weekend

There is a slight chance of rain by late afternoon Sunday up until midnight, followed by a chance of rain and snow throughout most of the Fairfield County area overnight, the weather service said.

The chance of night-time precipitation is 60 percent, with little or no snow accumulation expected as temperatures drop into the upper 20s overnight.

Monday will start out mostly cloudy before the sun breaks through later in the morning. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s.

After a partly sunny day Tuesday, snow, freezing rain and sleet are likely overnight in Wednesday. But precipitation should change to rain by daybreak as temperatures rise above freezing.
