Boy, 12, Seriously Injured After Crashing Stolen Kia In Bridgeport, Police Say A 12-year-old boy who was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle in Fairfield County when it crashed into a pole is in serious condition. The collision took place in Bridgeport around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12 in the area of Railroad Avenue and Hancock Avenue. According to Sgt. Darryl Wilson of the Bridgeport Police, the 911 Center received several calls regarding a sport utility vehicle that had struck a pole. Callers were uncertain if any occupants were still in the SUV.
