Erratic Driving Stop Leads To DUI Charge For Greenwich Man, Police Say A man from Greenwich has been charged with DUI after police say he was pulled over for driving erratically. Greenwich Police say they initiated a traffic stop after observing a motorist driving erratically near the area of Greenwich Avenue and West Putnam Avenue on Sunday, July 14 around 2 a.m. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Said Karrout, 58, of Greenwich, was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, according to police.
