Man Wins $50K From Powerball Ticket Purchased At Fairfield County Convenience Store
Connecticut Lottery announced a number of big winners, including two residents who claimed $50,000 prizes.
New Haven County resident Kenneth Procino, of Milford, won a $50,000 Powerball prize, CT Lottery announced on Friday, Oct. 14.
The ticket was purchased at Jay's Mobil Mart, located at 1271 Stratfield Road in Fairfield, the lottery said.

It was a good week for lottery players in Connecticut, including one who cashed in a winning $100,000 ticket.
Danbury resident Yogesh Saini is feeling lucky after winning the top prize playing “$100,000 Fortune” on a scratch-off ticket sold at the Shell gas station on Greenwood Avenue in Bethel.
The winning ticket was cashed in by Saini on Tuesday, Dec. 7, CT Lottery officials said.

A pair of winning $100,000 CT Lottery tickets sold at Connecticut convenience stores have been cashed in.
On Tuesday, Nov. 16, a Southington resident cashed in a winning $100,0002 "CASH5" ticket that was sold at Sam's Quick Mart on the Meriden Waterbury Turnpike in Marion, lottery officials announced.
