Connecticut's $43 budget that Gov. Ned Lamont is expected to sign on Wednesday, June 5 includes more than $2 billion for public schools in each of the next two fiscal years. In addition to Education Cost Sharing grants effective July 1, the two-year budget includes more than $290 million in each year distributed through a combination of non-education grants.
