Bridgeport Man Sentenced To Decades In Prison For Violent Armed Robberies A Fairfield County man implicated in a string of violent armed robberies in 2017 with his half-brother that left two hospitalized with gunshot wounds will spend decades in prison, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced. Bridgeport resident Jachim Brown, also known as “Ameer Edwards” was sentenced to 260 months in prison after he was found guilty of four counts of Hobbs Act robbery and one count of discharging a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.
