The New Haven County incident occurred on Wednesday, May 22 in the city of Milford. It was just after 6 p.m. when it was reported that two people — 26-year-old Edwin Gonzalez and 40-year-old Tashsa Johnson — were at the Big Y at 150 Boston Post Road shoplifting. Man Attempts To Cut Dog's Throat During Fight In Bridgeport, Police Say A Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly attempting to cut a woman's dog's throat when the animal would not stop barking during a domestic dispute. Edwin Gonzalez, age 30, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Monday, May 31, by Milford Police when they responded to the Mayflower Motel for a domestic violence report. An investigation found that Gonzalez, who had an active order of protection against him, pushed the victim on a bed during an argument, Milford Police said. The incident took place Saturday when officers from the Stratford Narcotics Vice and Intel Unit stopped a silver Kia Forte in the Honeyspot Motor Lodge, said Capt.
