4-Year-Old Killed In Bridgeport Car Crash Was 'Wild Man,' Family Says
A 4-year-old boy who was involved in a crash in Bridgeport that killed his aunt has died from his injuries.
The crash took place Monday, March 6 in Bridgeport, according to Scott Appleby with the Bridgeport Police.
Appleby said two adults and two children were in an SUV that was struck from behind at the intersection of Boston Avenue and Colony Street.
Killed during the crash was New Haven resident Chelsey Naesha Torres, age 24, of Seymour, police said.

Bridgeport Man Robbed Of $6K, Wallet, His Lunch At ATM, Police Say
A man was allegedly pushed to the ground and robbed of more than $6,000 in cash, his wallet, and his lunch while attempting to make a deposit at an ATM.
The incident took place around 11 p.m., Saturday, March 13m at the People's Bank at 58 Boston Ave., in Bridgeport, said the Bridgeport Police Department.
When officers arrived on the scene they found the victim, who said he was depositing $6,000 at the ATM when a suspect pushed him to the ground, police said.
While on the ground, the suspect stole the money, and the victim's wallet and lunch, they added.

Eight days after he was critically injured in a Fairfield County vehicle crash, former State Senator Edwin Gomes has died from his injuries.
Gomes, who was injured in the Dec. 13 crash, died on Tuesday, Dec. 22.
The crash took place around 6:53 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 13, at the intersection of Boston Avenue and Noble Avenue in Bridgeport, said Bridgeport Police Captain Kevin Gilleran.

A 22-year-old man was critically injured following a two-vehicle early morning crash in Fairfield County.
The crash took place in Fairfield County around 6:30 a.m., Sunday, June 7, at the intersection of Boston Avenue and North Summerfield Avenue in Bridgeport, said Sgt. Gabe Meszaros.

A Bridgeport man was injured during a single-vehicle crash after he lost control of his vehicle and plowed into the corner/porch of a home.
The crash took place at 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30, on Boston Avenue, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police.
