Eighth-Graders Graduate From Isaac E. Young Middle School NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Isaac E. Young Middle School's eighth-grade class recently held the final graduation ceremony of the school year in the New Rochelle district.  Parents, teachers, families, counselors, administrators, staff and Board of Education members recognized the students' accomplishments.  The graduation ceremony took place on Friday, June 24, in the New Rochelle High School gymnasium.  Mike Kenny, retiring district coordinator for guidance and counseling, also received the Emerald Knight award.

More Than 100 Show Up For Songs For Seeds Pool Concert SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- More than 100 parents and children caught a day of swimming and music when Songs for Seeds performed a concert at the Scarsdale Pool on Saturday, June 25. Children sang, danced and played instruments along with the group during the poolside concert.  As previously reported, Songs for Seeds were named "Best Music Class" by New York Magazine and "Most Magical Music Class" by Red Tricycle.
