New Assistant Principals Named In Irvington IRVINGTON. N.Y. -- Jacquelyn Salcito and Matthew Samuelson are the newest assistant principals in the Irvington School District.  Salcito is the new assistant principal at Dows Lane Elementary School, while Samuelson will join Irvington High School.  Superintendent Kristopher Harrison announced the appointments at the Board of Education's reorganization meeting Friday.  Salcito previously served as an elementary consulting teacher at Bedford Hills Elementary School. Barnum's 206th Birthday with the annual Crazy-Beautiful-Awesome-Spectacular Hat Day and Cacophony Orchestra on Tuesday, July 5.  Participants are invited to bring a top hat, snack on top-hat cake and bring a musical instrument for a birthday march up and down Greenwood Avenue.  Bethel was the hometown of P.T. Ridgewood's 106th July Fourth Parade Celebrates National Parks RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- The 106th Annual Fourth of July Celebration parade in Ridgewood will honor the anniversary of the National Park Service. This year's parade theme of “America the Beautiful – "Celebrating 100 Years of our National Parks" — honors the passing of the Organic Act of 1916 originated by President Theodore Roosevelt and signed by President Woodrow Wilson.
