He also participated in the Watermark at 3030 Park’s Teacher Appreciation festivities.

“As the father of four kids – two who attended Bridgeport public schools, and two who are currently attending Bridgeport public schools – nobody is more dedicated to ensuring our schools and teachers have the resources they need to prepare our kids for success," Finch said. "We’re renovating and building schools so that our kids can learn in the right environment. In the near future, about 13,000 of our students will be attending new or renovated schools. And we’re working to expand pre-K in Bridgeport, making sure that families of all income levels have access to high-quality preschool. On this day and every day, I say thank you to all the hard-working teachers who are helping to prepare our kids for success and making Bridgeport better every day.”
