John M. Jureller, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and Paul Quick, senior vice president and general manager of the Connecticut region, visited eighth-graders on March 25.
Jureller and Quick “kept the students engaged, and provided them with great lessons for the future,” Quentin Ball, development director at New Beginning Family Academy, said in a press release.
“I particularly liked the idea of posting your dreams by the door so you see them when you are coming and going.”
The visitors also emphasized the importance of steady employment, keeping a bank account, and talked about ways they achieved their own personal and professional successes.
“A strong work ethic, and learning to save a portion of what you make, are a great start toward independence,” Quick said to the students.
“Those two things are the recipe for success.”
