Officers responded to the store at 80 Boston Post Road at 5:54 p.m. Thursday hours for a report of a shoplifting.
A female suspect had taken over $100 worth of clothing from the store without paying, while accompanied by a small child, police said.
The suspect got into a vehicle and left the parking lot before officers arrived, police said.
But officers located the vehicle a short distance away, where the woman, identified as Nilsa Resto, 49, of Bridgeport, was arrested, police said.
During booking, Orange policed learned that the Fairfield Police Department also held a warrant for Resto's arrest, which was then served by Orange police.
She was charged with sixth-degree larceny, risk of injury to a minor, and second-degree failure to appear.
She was held on $5,495 bond for an Aug. 18 court date, police said.
