BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A fight broke out Friday morning outside the Main Street courthouse in Bridgeport, resulting in the arrests of at least six people, according to the Connecticut Post.
Many were injured as dozens of people attacked each other with bats and torque wrenches while others stomped on cars after the sentencing was announced in slaying, according to the Post.
Just one day ago, Bridgeport police and court marshals foiled a gang hit outside the Golden Hill Street courthouse and arrested three men who attempted a drive-by shooting on a teen recently found not guilty in a fatal shooting.
The incidents were not related, the Post said.
