She was born in Lorain, Ohio, to Columbus Haywood Wilson Sr. and Geraldine Joan Wilson.
She is survived by her son, Kela Wilson; a sister, Darlene A. Williams; three brothers Columbus H. Wilson Jr., Richard (Erica) Williams II, and Sylvester (Tanya) Williams Jr., and four grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at noon at the Lester Gee Funeral Home, 1390 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport. Relatives and friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service.
