He was born in Luquillo, Puerto Rico, to the late Diego Torrens and the late Maxima Candelaria. He relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss him.
Interment took place at Park Cemetery.
