Temperatures are expected to fall off in the afternoon as cold air moves into the region. A wave of low pressure will bring precipitation that could start off as rain and could eventually turn over to snow. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
Scattered flurries will give way to gradually clearing skies on Friday, but temperatures will be significantly lower, including wind-chills in the 20s and 30s.
The weekend will feature a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low-to-mid 40s.
