Metro-North Reports Delays, Runs Buses On Waterbury Branch

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Metro-North was reporting delays for New Haven Line customers on Friday's afternoon train commute. And Waterbury Branch riders were being switched to buses.

New Haven Line trains departing Grand Central Terminal were delayed 10 to 15 minutes, Metro-North said.

Substitute bus service was being provided on the Waterbury Branch for the 4:51 p.m. train departing Waterbury and making all stops to Bridgeport due to mechanical difficulties.

Bus service was operating 50 to 55 minutes late, Metro-North said.
