Newville Dad Killed In Rt 944 Crash
A 28-year-old Central Pennsylvania dad has been identified as the person killed in a weekend Cumberland County crash. Kody Tidd, of Newville, was driving at a "high rate of speed" when he "lost control" of his vehicle on Route 944 westbound just before the Deer Lane intersection in the evening hours Saturday, June 3, 2023, Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall told Daily Voice. Tidd hit three other vehicles, though no other injuries were reported, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, Hall said. The Middlesex Township Police Department is investigating the incident. A New Jersey gas station attendant who died months after being brutally beaten while at work will be buried in Fairfax County, VA. Fardin Ghadami Darounkolaee was attacked in August 2022 by 26-year-old Nixon Marquez at the Shell station on Marin Boulevard and 14th Street, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez previously said.
