Virginia homicide detectives have arrested the 23-year-old man accused of gunning down his family member inside a Woodbridge apartment complex last week, ending a nearly weeklong manhunt.
Thomas Lynwood Brown, of Triangle, was taken into custody on Sunday, Aug. 2, by members of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force at a location on Westfields Boulevard in Centreville, according to Prince William County police.

Washington resident Johnny Gregory, 42, was sentenced on Friday, July 31, to 24 months in prison after a judge found him guilty of strangling his wife during a violent domestic assault earlier this year, the US Attorney's Office announced.

District resident Makai Bridges, 17, was sentenced to 12 years behind bars for a series of violent crimes committed when he was just 16, including an armed robbery, a carjacking, and assaults while locked up, federal prosecutors announced.
