Boy, 17, Shot Dead In Woodbridge A 17-year-old was shot and killed overnight in Prince William County, police said. Officers responded to the Misty Ridge Apartments located in the 15000 block of Lost Canyon Ct in Woodbridge around 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18. Responding officers found the 17-year-old boy in an outdoor stairwell suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.  Officers provided aid to the juvenile who was transported to an area hospital where he later died.  The investigation revealed the suspect had fled on foot after the shooting. Stabbing Suspect Arrested In Arlington, Police Say A 42-year-old man has been arrested in an Arlington stabbing, police said. Nicolas Godinez-Andres was outside of an apartment building with the victim on the 4300 block of 4th Street N., when the two became arguing around 11:20 Friday, June 14, police said. Things escalated at which point Godinez-Andres assaulted the victim with a knife before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital. Oxford police arrested Elder Delfidio Perez-Alvarado, of Guatemala, on the unit block of S 5th Street around 8 p.m. on April 8, police said. Ashburn Arsonist Arrested More Than Year Later, Fire Marshal Says A 31-year-old arsonist has been arrested in a two separate fires in 2023, authorities in Loudoun County said. Austin Bostic, of Ashburn, is believed to have set the fires around 2:30 p.m. on April 5, 2023 on Thistledown Terrace, the county fire marshal's office said. He was charged with burning or destroying a dwelling and setting fire to woods, fences, grass, and more, officials said. He was held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
