Between May and September last year, investigators say that crews were called to a plethora of swatting incidents at several schools that were purportedly targeted by the underage suspect. Two Alexandria Schools Swatted (Details) Two bogus threats brought a SWAT response to two Alexandria schools on Wednesday, Jan. 24, officials said. The first call came in around 12:05 p.m., targeting the Charles Barrett Elementary School, at 1115 Martha Cutis Dr., a spokesperson for the sheriff's office said. The caller said someone would be at the school with guns, officials said. The treat was called into the school at 9 a.m., just one day after two swatting incidents evacuated both Stafford and Brooke Point high schools at dismissal. "Due to the increase in swatting calls, deputies will be providing additional coverage at all of our public schools," the sheriff's office said. "The investigation is ongoing."
